Ruby Ellison

Ruby is a 2008 graduate of the premier Massage Therapy training program of the Ashland Institute of Massage in Oregon. As a consummate learner Ruby returned to school after six years of practice to complete her undergraduate work. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Portland State University.

2017 marked the year Ruby fell in love with the study of Eastern Medicine. Inspired by her newfound interest in Thai and Chinese Medicine she was able to shift her treatment style. Blending the two hemispheres has allowed for a patterned approach to Massage Therapy in search of the best outcome for her patients. Ruby’s sessions include a variety of treatments such as orthopedic cupping and stretching, Tok Sen, Gua Sha, healing liniments and herbs. She is passionate and committed to help her patients, not only, recover from injury, but also in maintaining the overall longevity of their health.

Ruby credits her enriching and expansive journey to her teachers, Nephyr Jacobsen of The Naga Center in Portland, Oregon and Master Kru Maew of the Nuad Tok Sen Baan in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is through their tutelage Ruby has been able to advance her devotion to medicine and ultimately, her patients.
